Building a Positive Reputation Over the Web
Client: Independent Business Consultant
Project Duration: 12 Weeks
Challenge
The client’s name, when searched on Google, surfaced old negative blog posts and outdated forum mentions that misrepresented their professional expertise. Prospective clients were hesitant to reach out after seeing these results, which was hurting lead generation and conversions.
Solution
After auditing the online presence and gathering all necessary information from the client, we began by creating and optimising relevant social profiles and personal brand assets. In parallel, we started developing positive, brand-aligned content focused on the client’s expertise and achievements.
Once approved by the client, this content was strategically published across highly authoritative platforms that are frequently crawled by search engines. Our approach included publishing articles, press releases, blogs, presentations (PPTs), video PPTs, PDFs, and other reputation-building assets as part of a structured Online Reputation Management process.
This activity was executed consistently on a week-by-week basis, and positive results began reflecting within the first month, with improved visibility of favourable content in search engine results.
Outcome
Within 90 days, all major negative search results were pushed to page 3+ on Google, while positive content such as LinkedIn and new articles now dominate page 1 — boosting credibility and leading to a measurable increase in client inquiries.
